Social Media / DIGITORIA JOURNAL
A Simple Social Media Content Plan for a Small Business
Build a manageable content plan around customer questions, real work and clear next steps.

Collect questions first
Write down the questions customers ask in calls, messages and meetings. These are a stronger starting point than filling a calendar with unrelated awareness days. Group the questions into choosing a service, understanding the process and getting started. Each group can support several useful posts without repeating the same sales message.
Use a balanced mix
Plan a mix of useful explanations, genuine examples of work and information about your people or process. A short video can demonstrate something that is difficult to explain in a caption. A carousel can break down a sequence. Choose the format because it helps the message, not because every other business is using it.
Make production practical
Assign an owner, a draft date and an approval step. Keep customer consent and image rights in the process. Prepare a small batch of posts before scheduling them so urgent work does not stop the entire plan. Leave room for relevant updates instead of treating the calendar as a fixed promise.
Learn from meaningful responses
Review saves, useful questions, website visits and relevant enquiries in context. A post with fewer views may be valuable if it answers a buying question well. Keep a record of what customers responded to and turn that into the next set of ideas. Consistency means maintaining a useful process, not publishing filler to hit a daily target.
