Google Ads vs Meta Ads: Which Fits Your Next Campaign?
Compare search intent, visual discovery and the work needed after an enquiry before choosing an advertising channel.

Compare the customer moment
The useful question is not which platform is always better. Ask what the customer is doing when they see the ad. A search campaign can respond to someone actively looking for an answer. A social campaign can introduce an idea while someone browses a feed. These are different moments, and they call for different messages.
Match the message to intent
For a search-led campaign, make the service and next step explicit. If someone searches for website development, sending them to a general page with unrelated offers adds work. For a visual campaign, show the product, problem or experience quickly. Use a real example of the offer rather than an attractive image that does not explain it.
Prepare the follow-up
Both channels need a useful destination and a dependable enquiry process. Decide who will answer messages, what details they need and how enquiries will be recorded. A campaign that generates conversations can still disappoint if nobody follows up. Keep ownership of the advertising account and maintain access to reporting.
Run a focused comparison
If you test both channels, compare a similar offer and record qualified enquiries rather than just clicks. Separate media spend from creative and management costs. Avoid judging a campaign on one unusual day. Review the customer fit and the path from ad to enquiry, then decide where further testing is justified. No platform is a universal winner.
